I have always loved Stories. I started writing before I could write words. I was one to be found reading a book when my homework was supposed to be getting done, late into the night or on the school bus. In middle school I decided that I liked creating my own stories as much as I liked reading them and so decided to become an Author.
I still love reading books and have to admit I am the kind of reader who looks at the clock at 2:00am and says WHOOPS. Or who looks at the clock at 11:30 pm and decides to keep reading because I am at the climax and can’t stop there! Lack of sleep is worth it. My favorite books are young adult, clean contemporary romance, Regency romance, fantasy, mystery, adventure, fairy tale, paranormal, suspense and honestly I like a taste of romance along with any story. I also love awesome picture books. I love writing because I get to be both a fairy godmother and a super villain at the same time, for every story I create. Which rocks my world. What other job combines both of those things?! I have created stories since I was little, while doing chores or other tasks that let my mind wander and I have to admit I have a long list to write, and it continually grows even now. So, stay tuned for lots and lots of stories!! WHY multi-genre? Well, I love to read multiple genres and I love to come up with stories in multiple genres. I didn't want to limit the kind of stories I wanted to share. So I decided to not deny who I am. A multi-genre author. It's more fun this way anyway, right? More stories for me to share with you! I was born in Idaho and will always love it but right now I live in Utah, with my husband and sweet little family. I have five kids four girls and one boy. They are my world and I love them more than anything. I am a member of The American Night Writers Association and have graduated from The Institute of Children's Literature. I also graduated from BYU-Idaho and the Vogue beauty college. I am constantly reading and learning to grow my writing skills. I enjoy attending writing conferences any chance I get to continue learning. I feel continuing to learn is vital to my writing and I like to share that with other writers too. For a fun fact about me: I would have a pet dragon if I could but my house is flammable. |
